McRae Metal Masters was built on more than a passion for welding and fabrication. It was built on hard work, determination, sacrifice, experience, and the belief that something meaningful can be built from the ground up.

Founded by Andrew and Amberlynn McRae, our company represents years of hard work and a shared vision for the future. Our goal is to provide dependable, high-quality metal fabrication, welding, and repair services while building something bigger than a business: a future for our family, opportunities for our employees, and lasting relationships with our customers.

Andrew's journey in welding began in 2005 at North Bend High School, where he started taking welding classes with Mr. McGrady. Welding quickly became the one class that made him excited to come to school. His passion for the program was so strong that he even spoke at a school board meeting to fight for it to remain available to students.

Coming from a family without much money, attending national competitions wasn't something he could simply ask someone to pay for. He saved every bit of money he earned because he was determined to make it to Nationals. Throughout high school, he competed in SkillsUSA, winning every year and ultimately earning the opportunity to compete nationally in 2010. That experience helped shape the work ethic, determination, and drive that continue to define him today.

What started as a welding class became a lifelong passion and career. Over the years, Andrew has gained extensive hands-on experience in industrial fabrication, welding, and equipment repair. His work has included commercial fishing vessels ranging from 58 to 127 feet, heavy farm equipment, silos, cranes, dump trucks, tractor-trailer equipment, horizontal grinders, Peterson whole-tree chippers, and much more.

Known for working efficiently without sacrificing quality, Andrew takes pride in solving problems, taking on challenging projects, and getting the job done right. His experience has taught him that quality workmanship, reliability, and doing what you say you're going to do are what build a lasting reputation.

But our vision for McRae Metal Masters goes beyond the work we produce. We started this business because we believe in being able to provide instead of struggle, creating opportunities instead of waiting for them, and building something that gives others the chance to succeed alongside us.
